Hi! I’m Melissa, a professional organizer and the owner of Simple Spaces. I am a wife and a mother of three young children. I enjoy everything outdoors, running, dancing, wild adventures with my family, spending quality time with friends, decorating, re-purposing old things, and I have a passion for organizing. As a wife and mother, I have learned that we are all happier and more at ease when our home is in order. The chaos of living in disorganization turns into stress for the entire family.
I hold a Bachelor’s in Family and Community Services from East Carolina University. After spending a few years working in the mental health/human services field, my husband and I had our first of 3 sons. I became a full-time mom and treasured the time with my little ones. Being a mother is what propelled me into pursuing organizing as a career. I have learned in this season how to move from “survival mode” to where we are actually “living” and enjoying life right where we are, and organization plays a huge role in that.
I aspire to bring peace and simplicity into all the spaces in your home through solutions that are:
- Customized to your needs so you know it’s the best solution for you.
- Within your budget so you can feel good about your decision to work with me.
- And easy for you to manage long after the job is done.
